Hello to all our subscribers,
I wish to introduce myself as the new editor of the newsletter for the
next 12 months. We are looking to make some changes to the way
subscriptions are handled after liasing with past editors. As from now,
the newsletter will only be sent out via email as an attachment and this
will no longer incur any cost. Yes, that is free for all to access! A
renewal notice will be sent out in October of each year to keep the
subscriber list current. A hard copy will be only sent out in extreme
circumstances after negotiations with myself. This format is expensive
and time consuming and the cost was not covered properly under the
previous subscription rates. Most of you still have issues owing you
under the previous $5 per year payment. If you would like a refund for
the remaining issues, please email me to arrange this. Please tell your
friends about the new arrangements for we would like to encourage as
many subscribers as possible.
The format of the newsletter will also change slightly with the addition of different sections. One will be a State Roundup where groups all
around the state are asked to send in a brief report (and maybe a photo) of what they have been doing. I hope this will inspire other groups
with ideas and help with people moving to new areas. Even a good paragraph is sufficient and please include your name (only needs to be
first if you would like privacy) and group that it involves. I welcome any reports for the next edition. Please send in by the middle of
November to be included in the December issue.
I welcome feedback to any of the above and hope my time as editor will
be of benefit to you all.
